So many of my students and clients ask me what they should be doing, or what should they complete their graduate degree in. My initial response is "I don't know you well enough. Only you can know what's right for you."
We frequently ask professors, friends, co-workers, mentors, parents and other family members for advise on how do get out of the professional rut we find ourselves in. We also spend all our lives reading books and articles about what we need to do.
But we should be asking ourselves! Remember, more external information is not always better. There’s so much we already know. We simply need to bring it to our consciousness. This series of exercises, compiled into a workbook, will bring clarity to you on what you should really be doing with your professional life and career. It's never too late to switch gears. Happiness delayed is still happiness!
Most top performers are top performers because they have successfully found what they are supposed to do. I've never met someone terrible at their job who claimed to love what they do.
You need to love what you do to be excellent. Begin the process of being excellent right here, right now!
